Dear Kev,

I miss you. I miss our conversations, your laugh, your smile, your passion for cycling. I’m heartbroken seeing your life end so soon. It’s not fair how someone can just take your life away so quickly. It seemed like it was just yesterday when you were telling me about JROTC/drum cadets/being s3/life at ALHS. And now you’re gone… and now I’m missing that part of my life. Thank you for never failing to make me smile and always brightening up the day. Rest in Peace. We will always love you & you’ll forever be in our hearts. My condolences & prayers go to you, your mom, your sister & the whole family.

what happened:

Kevin was a 16 year old, a Junior at ALHS. He had a passion for riding bikes and JROTC. He was killed in a car accident on the way to school, the morning of Sept. 27th. What caused the crash was a 58 year old woman driving recklessly at ~80 mph, driving through stoplights and stopsigns. She slammed into the van Kevin, his mom & his 17 year old sister were in. Kevin’s mom & sister are both in the hospital right now, both are critically injured.
